Series co-creator Ed Boon has revealed the official cover art for Mortal Kombat 11.

The iconic fighter Scorpion is the lone cover star for the second consecutive Mortal Kombat game, after appearing front and center on the cover of 2015’s Mortal Kombat X. Boon revealed the new art, which you can also see below, on Twitter.

Mortal Kombat 11 was announced with a bloody cinematic trailer during The Game Awards 2018. The fighter will be released on April 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

In anticipation of its upcoming release, IGN compiled a list of 11 things we want from Mortal Kombat 11, as well as 16 guest characters we’d like to see as DLC.
